I’ve starting going through the 21 Day Fix workout and I have to say I’m really enjoying it. I didn’t know how I’d feel working out with a female trainer. Nothing against the ladies I just have always done a Shaun T or Tony Horton workout. I have tried Chalene’s workouts in the past and just didn’t enjoy them personally, but I really like Chalene. This will be the start of a series of 21 Day Fix posts coming your way. I wanted to start out with the 21 Day Fix Schedule. Given the name of this program you probably know this is only a 3 week program, so the schedule can’t be to complicated can it.
The first thing to take away from the 21 Day Fix Calendar is there is NO REPEAT WORKOUTS in a the same week. I personally can’t stand having to do the same workouts in the same week, it’s just annoying to me. Right out of the gates I’m already happy with this schedule.
The next thing is the length of the workouts. Beachbody has seemed to catch on that most people don;t want to spend an hour working out. All the new workouts seem to have 25- to 30 minute workouts like T25, P90X3, the all new PiYo and now the 21 Day Fix and that’s perfect in my book.
The workouts are short (30 minutes) but are they effective and intense, in one word, YES! Don’t go into the 21 Day Fix and expect it’s easy because the trainer is a woman. Autumn Calabrese (21 day fix trainer) is amazing and if you want to learn more about her search here on youtube.

The 21 Day Fix Doubles Option
Are you looking for even more dramatic results? Research shows that your resting metabolic rate is elevated for several hours after exercise. So, for an added results kick, the Fix has an optional doubles week, to be utilized from days 15-21. This second workout, to be done at a different time in the day, will rev your metabolism, burn more calories, and bring you closer to reaching your goal.
Which 21 Day Fix Schedule Is Best
There are a few things to consider when deciding on which schedule to follow. One of which is time, doing the doubles schedule will require 60 + minutes of workout time so you’ll want to make sure you can commit to that amount of time. The other thing you might consider is your own fitness level. These workouts aren’t “easy” by no means and Autumn has found ways to make me wake up sore everyday. I’m sore in muscles that P90X3 and Body Beast never made sore. I’m going through the base schedule and that’s a great place to start. You’ll be working out 7 days per week!
