Beachbody Coach Scam or Pyramid Scheme?
When someone mentions or recommends a product or business to you. It’s always the right idea to do your due diligence and research that product or business before jumping in.
One of the first questions asked is usually:
Is this just a Beachbody Coach Scam?
Looking into the Beachbody Coach opportunity is no different and I’m positive you’re here to validate this type of business or Beachbody all together.
Network Marketing – Beachbody Coach Scam
The Beachbody Coach opportunity is a network marketing business and another concern with that you may have is this a Pyramid Scheme. Honestly most people don’t even know what a Pyramid Scheme really is, so below is the definition of “Pyramid Scheme” from wikipedia.
A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participants payment, services or ideals, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme or training them to take part, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public. Pyramid schemes are a form of fraud.
Beachbody has been in business for 11+ years and Beachbody Coaches do sell products, so right away you see this is no pyramid scheme. And someone I personally sponsor can out rank and out earn myself. People tend to think only the people at the top earn money. Now, I do earn bonuses from my down line, but again I can be outranked by someone I bring into this business.
There are many different reasons people become a Beachbody Coach. Some are looking to earn extra money, some simply want to save money on products they are already buying, and then there are those that want to help others succeed in their business as well as with the products while earning extra money. Still wondering if this is a Beachbody Coach Scam?
The costs of becoming a Beachbody Coach are quite minimal compared to it’s earning opportunity.
First there is a startup cost of $39.95, which includes your first months’ business service fees and your business kit.
After your first 35 days you will have a $14.95/month fee to cover your online office material, and hosting of the two websites Beachbody provides it’s coaches.
Lastly you need to sell or purchase 50 PV (personal volume) points. This is how you remain an active coach. Being active guarantees your bonuses and commissions are paid out. You earn these points from your personal sales or purchases, each product has a point value of about 1 point per $1 wholesale. P90X costs a coach $89 and is 90 points.
Some of the benefits of being a Beachbody Coach include:
- 25% discount of everything you buy
- Earn 25% on every product you sell
- No inventory requirement
- Customer service, shipping and handling, and returns are taking care of by Beachbody
- Earn a residual income
- Getting Fit, while earning money
When I’m asked if this is a Beachbody Coach scam, my obvious answer is Not At All. I have had an incredible journey as a Beachbody Coach, both physically and financially. I went from unemployed to a full time income as a Beachbody Coach in a little more than one year. And I look forward to what is to come in this business for me in the future.
