Beachbody Success Club Trip 2011 | Beachbody Coach Cruise

cruise picAs a Beachbody Coach there are many things that I really enjoy about this business. The fact that it’s a “people helping people” business is right there at the top. Qualifying for Beachbody awards and incentives is just a perk, and a very nice one I might add. In 2010 the “Success Club Trip” was announced that it was going to be a 7 day cruise on the luxurious “Oasis of the Seas” from Royal Carribean. I have to be honest that I didn’t even flinch when it was announced, I did not expect to ever win prizes and awards and expeacially the Success Club trip award. To my surprise I received a post card in the mail late in 2010 explaining to me that I qualified for this trip. I immediately went into my online office to check as I just knew this was receieved in error. Well, to my surprise my name was right there in front of me for qualifying for the trip. There are certain requirements you need to meet to be qualified to go on the Success Club trips Beachbody offers. In all honestly if you set your mind to it qualifying for the trips is possible, in fact Beachbody has just made it even easier to earn the Success club trip for this year. Especially since there are a bunch of different ways to qualify.

This would be my first trip to any Beachbody event, and I was a little nervous about meeting other top coaches and of course Shaun T and Chalene Johnson were going to be there as well. Once we got to the dock all you could see was the massive ship, which claims to be the largest in the world, it’s like a floating city. We got to our room which was very roomy complete with a king size bed and even included a balcony (where we ate breakfast everyday). Once we got settled we made our way down to the conference room to pick up our Team Beachbody itenery and gift bag. This is a 7 day trip and Beachbody had something for us each day. Workouts with Shaun T and Chalene throughout the week. And of course there were Beachbody Coach trainings as well. We made sure to get to every training and panel session we could.

One of the first meetings was the Trainer Panel. The trainer panel was a very simple concept. You take two of the top Beachbody celebrity trainers, put them in from of some of the top coaches and do a Q and A. I have to say it was very serreal seeing them in person. Shaun T is in amazing shape, like you didn’t know that already. He shared his story on how he came to be a trainer with Beachbody. I have a short video of some of what he said. If you haven’t noticed he is way more “cut” now than he was in the Insanity shoot and he attests this to the new Asylum workout coming soon.

Chalene Johnson was awesome as well. I really enjoyed listening to her speak. You can tell right away she is a very professional person and knows how to handle her business. She also told us how she came to Beachbody and I have a short video of her talking about meeting Carl for the first time. Listening to both Shaun and Chalene would of made the trip worthwhile in itself, but we had much more to come.

More and more coaches are building their businesses on Facebook and why not, everybody is in social media these days with Facebook and twitter. I was contemplating going to this training, but really glad I did. I found out I know nothing about social media and this was an eye opener to say the least. She explains that she is not a social media expert but the reality is that she is an expert. At least in my eyes. I have pages and pages of notes I have to decipher and I plan to share everything with my team here in the near future. We were in this meeting for over an hour and it could of been two but it didn’t feel like it, thats how good she is. She explained that it could take well over 4 hours to go over everything and that’s just to scratch the surface.

One of the best meetings was called “Top Coach Panel” not really knowing what was going to happen in this meeting we went to peak our curiousity.. This was one of my favorite meetings we attended during the trip. Beachbody took 10 of the Top Coaches that qualified for the “Chairmans Club Adventure” and put them on the stage and had them tell their “why” and then opened it up to Q and A. If your a coach and looking to be one of the Top Coaches in this business I will tell you what the difference is in what they do that gets them to the top. Are you ready…here it is. They all follow “The Game Plan”, I’m not going to leave it there, their exposure counts are through the roof. The Game Plans tells you to do 2 exposures per day. These coaches blow that out of the water. We had another coach stand up and ask “Where do you get your exposures, I can’t find that many?” To answer his question the Top Coach panel says together “YES YOU CAN!” So there’s the difference, they are exposing themselves more than you, so get out there.

On another day we had a “Game Plan” training and I was late to this. It’s not hard to lose track of time on a cruise, the only way I even knew what day it was because each elevator had a plate on the floor that had the day of the week. If you haven’t looked at The Game Plan recently it has been updated a bit. We went over it and how to make it effective. What I took away from this meeting was to put words on the page into action. Download it, print it out and put it into action!

The last thing we did with Beachbody was a group photo, it’s was awesome seeing all the Beachbody Coach qualifiers and there families in their Beachbody gear on the Basketball court for the photo. Other cruisers were walking by and checking out what we were doing. I over heard a few people say, “thats the P90X people”, awesome.

Me and my wife attending most every show and production the ship had to offer, one of the things that stood out was the Cruise Director. Throughout the week he made several “shout outs” to Beachbody and P90X which he called PX90. Beyond that he made the entire experience even more memorable.

We had an amazing time and my goal for the next trip is to have some of my own coaches there with me. I look forward to the rest of what ever 2011 has to offer and I thank you for stopping by. Decide. Commit. Succeed.

To Your Success,
