Which Body Beast Schedule is Right for You?
Here you will find the Body Beast schedules and how they are set up. But the first question is which schedule is right for you. It’s probably an obvious answer. Either you are looking to add some mass or you’re looking to shed some body fat. Both schedules include a cutting phase at the end so the biggest difference is how you build. It’s easier to gain mass quickly without doing much cardio work, but if your primary aim is health, you may have more goals than just mass. It’s important to also consider that 90 days is not the end of your journey. Sagi (Body Beast Creator) still trains hard and so will you. Chances are you are going to do the Beast program more than once, so you can try both schedules. They both have the same goal: a bigger, fitter you.
Should I Alter The Schedule?
Body Beast is a 90 day program, but life is a full-tine job. For best results it’s up to you to decide how long to stay in each block. Most sports scientists will tell you training blocks should be between 3 and 7 weeks, but there have been examples where a block can yield results for longer.You could easily extend the 90 day schedule to 180 days. The only thing you want to avoid is repeating the same schedule so long you overtrained.
Overtraining isn’t that hard to figure out, especially for a bodybuilder. You begin each block by adapting to it. During this time, results will be slow. Once your body adapts, you’ll hit a period called a growth phase where results will happen quickly. You’ll obviously want to milk this phase as long as you can. As soon as you stop making strength gains from one workout to the next it’s a sign that the growth phase is waning and it’s time to move on to the next training block.
