The Beachbody Coach Summit was just a few weekends ago, many exciting annoucements were made but, perhaps the biggest announcement was the unvailing of the newest Shakeology flavor called Tropical. As of now Shakeology comes in two flavors, chocolate (which I love) and Greenberry. Shakeology is an effective way to help you lose weight, increase your energy and be the healthiest you can possibly be.

Shakeology Tropical Key Features:

Coconut Flower Nectar

Coconut is sometimes referred to as the “tree of life”.

No one has really utilized Coconut Flower Nectar. It’s not the water, the oil, or milk. So what is it? There is a flower that grows up and right before it blooms, they cut it off. It is incredibly sweet, almost a complete chain of amino acids, electrolytes amongst many other nutritional goodies.

Himilayan Salt

It is over 250,000 years old and comes from the Himilayan Mountains. It has about 84 minerals. Salt in this form is not salt you maybe thinking of, but it provides a perfect potassium to sodium ratio.

Glycemic index will be lower in Shakeology Tropical (still in testing phase).

The calories in Shakeology Tropical is expected to be around 130, where as Greenberry ans Chocolate have 150 calories.

Shakeology Tropical Taste:

As you can probably see from the picture it looks to be more of a strawberry flavor. Most of the select few who did get to taste test the new flavor agreed that it did have a taste of Strawberry, but the samples had been premixed with other ingridients so they were unable to taste it straight with just water. Nonetheless I’m excited to try this new flavor myself, I love the Chocolate flavor and drink it everyday but a strawberry flavor would be a nice change.
