Here we are at the last workout for week 2 with The Warrior. It’s already day 13 and time for The Warrior workout. The P90X3 challenge has continued to be a fun and exciting journey for me. And this is only week 2. I’m excited to see what’s in store for me as I continue this journey into week 3 and bveyond.
Day 13 The Warrior
How long does it take for prednisone to work is the workout that Tony uses when he visits Military bases. Its a gravity workout, no weights needed. But I tell you what, it’s a killer routine. I find this routine somewhat familiar as it has a lot of moves we have seen in P90X2, especially the core work. I think this workout is growing on me a little bit. I wasn’t too fond of it after the first time through but now I’m thinking it’s right up there with CVX. One difference is you get a small time to catch your break during the sore work so my heart rate average is lower than compared to CVX. The only move I sat out was the “think drill”. And yes it’s the same one from P90X2. I just needed a break at that point and couldn’t keep up with Tony any how. I can tell I’m improving my fitness level and continue to try to push myself harder on each day.
Day 13 The Warrior Nutrition
My nutrition took a hit today. I’m not happy about it but I’m also not going to dwell on it for long. One meal in the grand scheme of things doesn’t mean much. We went to Chilles this evening and I ordered the Grilled Chicken fajitas. On top of that we also had an appetizer of Chips and Queso which was the real killer. I did however stick to H20 so that part was a win. I’m trying to at the very least stick to the 80-20 rule so I can still enjoy a meal out from time to time. It’s important to still live our lives and not to ward off everything we love, otherwise this will be a losing battle in the end.
Breakfast – scambled egg whites, whole grain toast topped with strawberry preserves (8 oz green tea)
Post Workout – Chocolate Shakeology, add whey protein and PB2
Lunch – Turkey sandwich in whole grain bread, bowl of fruit
Snack – Pure Protein Bar
Dinner – Chilles Grilled Chicken Fajitas
Snack – Almonds
