Day 14 brings me to the end of 2 complete weeks in the Insanity Challenge. I’m happy to say I’m on schedule and still going strong. I’m excite to get the next two weeks under my belt.
Week 2 In Review:
Nothing special to report for week 2. One thing I did notice was I was getting a little run down from being off schedule. So I’d suggest staying on schedule as much as possible. It’s created to give you the most opportunity for rest and recovery. Diverting from it can make things more difficult, which it did to me. For this reason I had to swap my rest day from Sunday to Saturday. No big deal but it helped big time. You have to have rest to do this kind of workout, it’s an insane amount of plyo and cardio. Saturday I had a wedding to attend but other than that I sat around all day resting. Honestly I didn’t have the energy to do much anyways. The workouts during the week went well and was able to continue to push beyond my comfort zone. Up until the end of the week where the workouts caught up to me. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s Fit Test to see if I’m able to increase my numbers.
Week 2 Nutrition:
I can’t complain one bit about my nutrition in week 2. You can see from the images below that I almost hit my goals right on the mark. I was only over 53 calories for the week. And in terms of my macro-nutrients, I only missed my goals by 1%. You can see from the images below where I ended up for the week. Stay Tuned.
