As I wrap up week 2 in the Insanity Max 30 Challenge I can’t help but think of how much I’m enjoying this program. From the workouts only being 30 minutes to the “Max Out” concept. The only thing I’ll need to improve is my nutrition but honestly it has been as good as expected.
Week 2 in Review
My week 2 workouts all went well with the exception of Day 10. That one was mostly due to being out of gas from not eating properly that particular day. I was able to increase all my Max Out times each workout and it was not easy. That’s the point of the program though, to push us out of our comfort zone. So far in this battle vs myself I have been winning but these next two weeks will be the true test to see if I can match or beat my previous Max out times.
Week 2 Nutrition
I introduced a couple new recipes in week 2 but the rest was very similar. I like to keep things easy but still want to enjoy my food. Most every new recipe I have tried has been a winner so I’m really starting to get a handle on a few different recipes. As a total in week 2 I did good with my nutrition during the week, the weekend still needs some work, but I try to stick to the 80/20 rule. I also continue to need work on adding more veggies to my daily nutrition but I always make sure to have my Shakeology (some days 2). It’s easy to prepare and full of dense nutrition that my body needs to recover from these Insanity Max 30 workouts. I have been drinking Shakeology daily for so long I don’t know what I would do without it.
Week 2 Conclusion & Results
I’m happy with how week 2 went and I’m excited to start week 3 and see if I can break some of my times once again. I know it will be hard to Max Out this week but that’s the point. I started this week at 195.8 and I’m down to 194, another 1.8 pounds dropped and a total of 3 pounds lost since starting (14 Days) the Insanity Max 30 challenge. My goal is to crack into the 180’s by the end of week 4, Stay Tuned!
