Day 15 brings me to the second Fit Test in the Insanity Challenge. I was not looking forward to this workout because I was a little afraid I couldn’t live up to the numbers I put up on Day 1. Especially after feeling sluggish towards the end of last week.
Day 15 Fit Test 2
The second Fit Test is on the first day of week 3 in the Insanity Challenge. The Fit Test is designed to help show your progress through Insanity. It’s a way to track the progress you are making. Better yet it’s also in my opinion a way to know if you are over training. I think if you get to a Fit Test and all of your numbers are down significantly from the previous there is a chance you may be over training. I was a little afraid of this Day 15 Fit Test 2 mostly because I wanted my numbers to improve but wasn’t to awful sure if they could or would. Well the numbers are in and I have to say I impressed with myself. One thing I did was, I didn’t go back and look at my numbers from the First Fit Test. I didn’t want to know how many of a move I needed because once I passed it I may have not given it my all. So I went ahead with the Fit Test not knowing the numbers I needed to beat. Here are my results:
Weigh-In and Measurements
I decided I would update my measurements and pics every 15 days. And being today is Day 15 below you’ll find my current measurement and pics. I can’t really see much of any difference in the images but the number don’t lie. I lost a few inches here and there and dropped almost 2 pounds in total. I’m happy especially giving that this is only 15 days into the Insanity Challenge. I have got to stay strong and keep up the hard work with my nutrition and workouts and I know I’ll see some awesome results. I didn’t update my body fat. I’ll try to get that updated on day 30 and beyond.
At this point many people start to get discouraged or even think “How am I going to finish”. Some expect to see phenomenal results too quickly, it takes time! Day 15 Fit Test 2 Nutrition
I was pretty excited with my Fit Test results that I didn’t fill out my nutrition until later in the day. Which meant I forgot to take out meat so I had to go with all refrigerated items. At lunch I had cottage cheese and tuna fish in separate bowls of course. Not my 2 favorite things by any means but they fit into my nutrition today almost perfectly. For dinner I went with a turkey deli sandwich. I like having a sandwich and the extra carbs before my ball game this evening. I went over on my calories but not really worried about it with the extra calories I’ll burn at the ball field. I completed the day with a total of 1991 calories and a macro-nutrient ratios finished right at my goals with 45-35-20. Stay tuned.
