I woke up on day 16 with my motivation to workout down a bit from where it has been. Not quite sure what the reason behind it was but nonetheless it was there. And I know I’m not alone. There was never a question of doing my workout I just had a lack of motivation to get going. But I can tell you once I pushed play I got it done. In fact, I had the best Agility X workout to date.
Day 16 Agility X
Perhaps my motivation was down a bit from knowing the hell I was getting ready to endure in the Agility X workout. For some reason this workout is not one I look forward to, however it is a fun, fast killer workout. Today I increased my intensity, or at least tried to. I was happy to see that my HRM showed me I did just have the best Agility X workout I have had since starting the P90X3 Challenge. I ended up burning 472 calories with an average heart rate of 143 in 30 minutes. It felt great to have been able to push myself beyond my comfort zone. I still am having a problem with the 3.4 run we do in this routine. I really don’t like it and Tony ends up going so fast it’s just a turn off for me. So I skipped it for a break again today. Otherwise I might have been able to burn a handful more calories. The other thing I did to increase the intensity for Agility X was I increased the distance between my “X” marks on the floor. Granted I only added 4-6 inches, but it made a big difference. This will be my last taste of Agility X for some time. I won’t be revisiting this workout again until day 59 in the 3rd block. I will be ready though, I will be ready!!!
Day 16 Agility X Nutrition
Today I wanted to try a new recipe I found from a trainer I follow on instagram. It’s called Chicken muffins and they were so good. I continue to try new recipes and ideas to keep the nutrition fresh and not get so monotonous. If you’d like to check out this recipe click here, don’t forget to follow them. For my last snack of the day I tried a new vanilla Shakeology recipe we found online. It was pretty good…if you like the taste of orange juice right after you brush your teeth. I was NOT a fan of this recipe to say the least.
