The end of week 3 signifies one thing to me, and that’s the end of Block 1. After these 3 weeks of the P90X3 Challenge and the same workouts each week I’m ready for some new challenging workouts. But first we have to go through the transition week.
Week 3 In Review
So let me talk about this last week in the first block before I get ahead of myself and look to the next week and 2nd block. This 3rd week in the P90X3 challenge was my best yet. Probably no surprise there right. After all it was the 3rd time I saw each workout so they should have been better workouts. My goal coming into week 3 was to leave everything out there in the workout and hold nothing back (as much as possible). I really feel as if I did just that. I push myself harder each day set new goals and went for broke everyday. I have yet to even miss a workout in this P90X3 Journey so I’m extremely proud of myself in that way as well. I have really started to get this momentum going and I’m determined to get back into the 180’s and beyond. I continue to drop weight very quickly with this routine and I’m sure it’s going to slow down now that I’m transitioning into the next phase of the program and my body has started to adapt to the workouts and nutrition.
Week 3 Nutrition
Probably my best week in nutrition overall. It was nowhere near perfect but that’s not my focus. We still had our nights eating out with friends and family and even attended a birthday party. But I kept true to myself and never over indulged and made what I would call “better” decisions in terms of eating out. I want to do this in the long-term and not go crazy trying to be perfect all the time.
Week 3 In Conclusion
As I stated above, week 3 was to date my best week of workouts and nutrition. And I’m really looking forward to this transition week where we start to tackle all new workouts. New workouts that I have never done are always fun. I just hope I can continue to push my intensity up not knowing what to expect in the workouts. As of 3 weeks in the P90X3 Challenge I have dropped over 8 pounds! I started at 203 and weighed in today at 194.8. On to the transition week so stay tuned…
