Day 24 has arrived and it has come with the workout called Plyometric Cardio Circuit. Being this is week 4 I was thinking this was my last workout in this particular routine but after checking the schedule I see there is one more time I have to do this workout and it’s the last day of Month 1. Hoorah!

I didn’t really expect day 24 to be any easier than day 2 (the first time we did this workout) but I did expect to be better at it personally. And I was, I decreased the amount of breaks I needed and increased my reps counts dramatically. This workout has grown on me the more and more that I do it. I don’t struggle with any of the moves and at some points I feel I’m doing better than the cast. Tomorrow comes the Cardio Recovery workout and I’m looking forward to it as I do each and every week. My knee is still being bothersome and what scares me is it’s not a muscle soreness. I think I’m going to purchase a knee brace to see if that helps. I have been pushing pretty hard now for more than 3 weeks and it’s starting to catch up to my body. Next weeks recovery week may be coming at the perfect time. Either way I had another great workout today and can’t wait to finish out month 1 strong.
Day 24 Plyometric Cardio Circuit Nutrition
My nutrition for day 24 was good. I upped my total calories today to make up for my day 23 slip up in calories where I was a little under my goal. My breakfast was my traditional egg whites and whole wheat toast. Lunch and dinner came out of the Nutrition Plan for Insanity. At lunch I had the Egg Sandwich, it’s nothing special just egg whites on an english muffin topped with turkey bacon and tomato slices. I reserved my dinner for one of my favorite recipes, the Protein Pizza Muffins with a side of broccoli. I tried making these in the microwave instead of the oven today. Not a great idea. They were done fast but just don’t taste as well. I’d suggest using the instructions in the Nutrition guide and cook them in the oven. I completed the day with 2008 calories and my macros at 45-35-20.
