I woke up day 24 more sore than I have been in this entire experience. My focus on control and range of motion from yesterday really paid off, I can’t hardly move. No worries though, it’s the good kind of pain. You know, the pain where you know you worked out hard. The only down side is I think it may have hampered my performance for today’s workout and today is the last time we visit the Sweat Intervals routine in this round of Insanity Max 30.
Day 24 Sweat Intervals
Waking up today extremely sore on top of not getting a good night’s sleep really didn’t help much in the way for today’s Sweat Interval workout. I continue to be motivated and amped up towards my workouts but today’s soreness is the most I have had since starting Insanity Max 30. I was pretty sure my Max Out time would not be reached today with the way I was feeling and now making sure to get the full range of motion in the push ups and squats. My shoulders were toast and when we got to the “Power Jump – Squat Push” it was all I could do to do them properly. My previous Max Out time was 21:00 but I don’t think that was with FULL range of motion or soreness or lack of sleep. My Max Out time today was only 16:30 and it was all I could do to get that far. I’m not happy I didn’t reach my previous Max time but I know I’m getting in a better workout now. It goes hand in hand I guess. Tomorrow will be the icing on the cake as I return to another Tabata workout, the culprit to all my pain.

Day 24 Sweat Intervals Nutrition
Day 24 I continued par for the course and kept my nutrition in check. For dinner I decided to try one of my other favorite recipes that I haven’t had since starting Insanity Max 30. It’s called “Spinach BBQ meatballs” and you can get the recipe here. They are amazing and even though they have a little bit of spinach in them I went ahead and made some Mashed Cauliflower to go with it. Amazingly good!
Breakfast: 2 egg omelette with goat cheese, whole grain toast topped with strawberry preserves, and a banana.
Lunch: Tex Mex Spring rolls
Snack: Quest Bar and almonds
Dinner: Spinach BBQ Meatballs and Mashed Cauliflower
Snack: Greek Yogurt
