Not sure what to say about day 25 and Pilates X. In a nut shell it took me 25 days in the P90X3 challenge to find a workout that I didn’t like. I try to keep an open mind when it comes to new workouts or workouts I’ve never done. Pilates X was the first time I have had any experience with a pilates workout. I can say that it also may be the last time.
Day 25 Pilates X
Pilates was created by a guy name Joseph Pilates. The benefits of Pilates from Wikipedia states:
Now that you have a slight grasp of what Pilates is I can say I hated it. From the beginning of the first move I knew this was going to be a difficult workout for me. And not it terms of physical difficulty. The breathing techniques seemed weird, or I at least felt weird doing them. I did get through 20 minutes of the workout before I had enough and put in the Ab Ripper X3 DVD. I wanted to share one of my P90X3 Challengers thoughts on Pilates X. I thought it was funny and accurate depiction of this workout.
Day 25 Pilates X Nutrition
Pilates X put me in a foul mood for some reason. I had that feeling of not caring and had I had some junk food in the house I may have went on a rampage of bad nutrition. Luckily I was able to hold true to myself and my goals and stay cleared of doing any damage. I’m hopeful that tomorrow will be a better day and workout. Stay tuned.
Breakfast – oatmeal with whey protein and walnuts (8 oz. green tea)
Post Workout – Chocolate Shakeology, add whey protein and PB2
Lunch – egg whites, goat cheese, whole grain toast with strawberry preserves
Snack – Pure Protein Bar, .5 oz almonds
Dinner – Protein Pizza Muffins (Insanity Recipe) cup of broccoli
Snack – .5 oz almonds
