After yesterday’s debacle I was really looking forward to-day 26 and CVX. Still my number one favorite workout thus far in the P90X3 Challenge. This week has been a fairly slow week with the transition workouts and all. It was nice to sweat it out once again. CVX will bring the sweat on very quickly too. I’m just glad I don’t have to see Pilates X again for a while now. Only one more workout in this first transition week and then we’re off to a whole new set of workouts for the 2nd block.
Day 26 CVX
I welcomed CVX today with open arms. I can’t tell you how much I was looking forward to today after the day I had yesterday. CVX is one of those workouts that will bust your a$$ but you still love the hell out of it. Kind of reminds of an Insanity workout, but with weights! I was able to do the entire workout again with the 8lb med ball and didn’t have to take as many breaks this time through. Today was the first time in doing the P90X3 Challenge that I cracked 500 calories. That may not sound like a lot but I’m stoked for that number, especially with the workouts only being 30 minutes. I’m curious to see how much more difficult the workouts get or how many more calories I’ll be able to burn as we move forward in the program.
Day 26 CVX Nutrition
Breakfast – egg white omelet with spinach and goat cheese (8 oz. green tea)
Post Workout – Chocolate Shakeology, add whey protein and PB2
Lunch – grilled chicken and (3) small spinach meatballs, orange
Snack – Pure Protein Bar
Dinner – Chick fil a chicken sandwich, fruit cup, water
Snack – .5 oz almonds
