Week 4 of Insanity Max 30 was an empowering week for me. And it has motivated me to really dig deep and keep going. I’m still amped up with motivation to keep going with this program even though the dreaded Month 2 begins tomorrow!
Week 4 In Review
I mentioned above that week 4 was an empowering week for me. This was the week I discovered how to truly MaX OuT in these workouts. Shaun T gave his explanation to how to max out in a video here. I have really enjoyed this program through these first 4 weeks and I only wish I had found that video earlier in the program, if you haven’t watched it click here and give it 2 minutes. With really knowing how to Max out I didn’t reach or surpass many of my Max Out times this week, but I tell you this …I got a MUCH BETTER workout each day. Causing extreme soreness..YES! I continue to follow the modifier and will continue to do so in Month 2. I like that it really saves my knees and back from all the jumping. And on top of that I’m still getting a great workout in so don’t feel that following the modifier won’t get your results. I finished this weeks workouts strong as I did in week 3 and I feel focused and ready for the challenge that awaits me starting tomorrow…Month 2.
Week 4 Nutrition
Not much to say about how my nutrition was for week 4. I continue to keep it simple and repetitive for the most part. Where I struggle is the weekends and each weekend brings a new challenge. We still go out to eat but I try to make better decisions on what I order. And on top of that we have the Super Bowl this weekend. Don’t worry NO pizza for me but we did get some sushi to enjoy as a little treat during the game.
Week Conclusion and Results
I have been feeling great these last 2 weeks and really motivated but I’m not sure it translated to the scale very well (up .4 pounds [193.2]). Nonetheless I continue to push forward and kick some a$$. I’m proud to have made it through the first 4 weeks of Insanity Max 30 and I’m focused and ready for the next 4. Stay tuned…
