And now we begin the next 30 days. Day 31 starts out with X3 Yoga. The placement of this workout in the schedule is perfect. After the last 2 days of hard-core workouts my body was begging for a break. X3 yoga is great workout for regrouping and stretching. Again it was welcomed with open arms today.
Day 31 X3 Yoga
This is the only workout in the next 3 weeks that’s familiar from the first 30 days. No complaints there either giving what I’ve seen in just the first 2 days of the 2nd block. My goal with this workout is just to increase my range of motion and move on to the more complex moves rather than modifying them. I still can’t do the “crow” move but maybe one day I’ll get that one in. I’m extremely sore today from the first 2 workouts in this week. The upper body workout and triometrics have nailed me to say the least. They say soreness shows progress. If that’s true I’m golden.
Day 31 X3 Yoga Nutrition
It’s already Wednesday and I have yet to make my prepared lunches for the week. Which make sit much harder to decide what to eat for lunch. I think I’m going to make some time today to get some meals prepped.
Breakfast – egg whites, topped with goat cheese, whole grain toast topped with strawberry preserves (8 oz. green tea)
Post Workout – Chocolate Shakeology, add whey protein
Lunch – turkey sandwich, fruit cup
Snack – Pure Protein Bar
Dinner – spinach protein meatballs, brown rice
Snack – cottage cheese topped with strawberry preserves
