Day 32 or Day 4 of the recovery week is done. Only two more days of Core Cardio & Balance left and I’ll be happy to get through it. It’s starting to get a little bland doing the same workout everyday. Day 32 also represents something I hold dear to my heart, it officially means that I am past the half way point in the Insanity Challenge.
Day 32 Core Cardio & Balance
I can’t believe it’s already here, I am past the half way point in the Insanity Challenge. Only 31 days remain in the schedule and I’m sure those will be the grueling ones. Even still, I’m looking forward to it. Especially getting out of this recovery week. Today was a little off kilter for me. I like to do my workouts in the morning after I get the kids off to school but today my oldest had an award banquet to attend as she was getting an Upward Bound Award. So it through off my workout and nutrition schedule. Nonetheless I got the workout in, just later in the day than I’m use to doing it. As I mentioned it’s getting a little bland, something I expected going into this challenge. Don’t get me wrong I know why this week is here and I understand that it’s necessary, I just wish we had a workout or two to add to the week. Day 32 went as expected, I completed everything without a single break, well other than those dang hip flexor burners. If you can do that entire hip flexor segment please comment below with your secret. Only 2 more days of this routine and I get to move along.
Day 32 Core Cardio & Balance Nutrition
My nutrition on Day 32 was pretty sound. The thing that I didn’t expect was getting sick. During my daughters award banquet they served breakfast, I only had 1 scrambled egg and a spoonful of fruit. I noticed after my workout that I was unusually tired,sore and weak. Well it took the rest of the day to feel any better and I was out of it pretty bad. It crept up on me so fast I didn’t see it coming. This is why I’m wondering if it had anything to do with what I ate at the breakfast. It took all I could do to get up off the couch to make my lunch which luckily for me was scheduled as a deli sandwich. I hate feeling this way and to feel it so fast is even worse. I’m not even sure if I should or could workout tomorrow being the way I feel now. I kept up my nutrition nonetheless and finished the day with 1957 calories and the macros at 46-35-19. I hope to feel better tomorrow, stay tuned.
