Eccentric Lower
on day 39
of the P90X3 Challenge
was a questionable workout being the way I have been feeling the last few days. I never questioned if I was going to do the workout, however I questioned how effective I could be. I have been sick this entire week and have somewhat felt better here and there but when I do my workouts I really feel ran down. So you can see where my concern was today, especially being that it’s the dreaded LEG DAY.
Day 39 Eccentric Lower
I hadn’t decided on how I was going to perform in How long does it take for prednisone to work with regards to my weight numbers. I knew I could match them, but feeling the was I was, I was skeptical of increasing the weights today. But once I got going something hit me, I don’t know if it was adrenaline or just simply motivation, but I felt amped up today. I decided I was not just going to increase my weight on a few exercises, but ALL of them. The funny thing is that even after upping my weight on each and every move, I still think I could have done more. I guess before I get to far ahead of myself I should see if I can even walk in the next day or two. I feel like I crushed Eccentric Lower and I’m looking forward to the Incinerator workout tomorrow.
Day 39 Eccentric Lower
Breakfast – egg whites, topped with goat cheese, whole grain toast (8 oz. green tea)
Post Workout – Chocolate Shakeology, add whey protein
Lunch – grilled chicken, asparagus
Snack – Quest Protein Bar, .5 oz almonds
Dinner – baked shrimp, green beans
Snack – cottage cheese topped with strawberry preserves, .5 oz almonds
