Day 41 is the last workout day for me in this 6th week of the P90X3 Challenge. MMX is the Kenpo X of P90X3, but I have to say it’s much more intense and even a, for lack of a better word, funner workout. Tomorrow we begin the last week of the 2nd block before the transition week. The weeks continue to fly right on by. After the days I had at the beginning of this week I’m ready to go for broke this coming week.
Day 41 MMX
MMX is becoming more and more a favorite of mine. I kind of miss the CVX workout from the first block but MMX is right up there with CVX. I switched up my schedule this week, taking my rest day on Saturday and getting the MMX workout on Sunday. The only catch I have with doing it this way is I have to do the workout in the evening. I much rather do my workouts in the morning. Anyways I just about got this entire routine in while keeping up with the cast. Last week was the first time I did the MMX so I’m proud to be catching on this quickly. Next week I’ll try to keep up with them the entire routine.
Day 41 MMX Nutrition
Since it’s Sunday my nutrition is a little out of whack from the norm. For starters the workout was done in the evening so I just used my dinner as my post workout nutrition. I had my Shakeology for breakfast and I didn’t want to have it again today. I ran out of eggs the other day and had an egg craving, weird huh. On Sunday’s we go out after church with friends and family and today they chose Wendy’s. I made the best of it and only ordered a small chilli. And of course it’s LOADED with sodium. Moving on to next week I’m a little anxious to see the scale after the weekend of nutrition or lack of I had. Say tuned for my week 6 recap.
Breakfast – Chocolate Shakeology, add whey protein (8 oz. green tea)
Post Workout – Evening workout, dinner was my post workout meal
Lunch – Wendy’s small chilli
Snack – Quest Protein Bar, 1 oz almonds
Dinner – egg whites, topped with goat cheese, whole grain toast
Snack – Cottage cheese, strawberry preserves
