Here we go, Day 43 or day 1 of week SEVEN! Today is Monday and it the beginning of the second week of the Month 2 Max workouts. And it feels like week 2 of the first month. I’m still a little sore in my legs and I’m hoping that will subside sometime soon because it seems to keep me from pushing even harder on the workouts.
Day 43 Max Cardio Conditioning
Day 43 and Max Cardio Conditioning is the shortest of the Max workouts. This is only my second time running through this workout so when I saw the timer say 48 minutes I was thinking to myself “piece of cake”. Ya, right! This the Pure Cardio workout from hell in that there is no breaks and you go through about 38 non-stop minutes of it. I do like how this workout feels to be a bit quicker as it seems to fly by once your done, but during it seems to go on forever. I’m happy with the progress I’ve made even as little as it was. I also noticed later in this week we have our first double up of Month 2. It includes Max Cardio Conditioning and Insane Abs, I can’t wait for that little bundle of joy.
Day 43 Max Cardio Conditioning Nutrition
My nutrition for day 43 was cut and dry. I started my day off with the Insanity Recipe called Proatmeal. As I do everyday I had my post workout drink in the form of the Results and Recovery Formula followed up with some Shakeology. I don’t drink them back to back, I wait 60-75 minutes to let the Recovery drink “work”. For lunch I grilled up some chicken with my George Forman grille and added it to the brown rice with steamed peas and corn. This is another recipe from the guide that I really enjoy. My dinner was some more grilled chicken with a side of steamed peas and an apple, simple enough right. Keeping up the nutrition is still a mind game for me, I’m battling my will power everyday to keep everything as nutritious as I can. So far I have kept that voice at bay. I finished day 43 with 1948 calories and my macro-nutrients at 45-36-19. Stay Tuned.
