Day 43 and the start of week 7 can you believe it, I know I can’t. Only 2 weeks left in the Insanity Max 30 Challenge. Today’s Insanity Max 30 scheduled workout was Max Out Cardio. This is my favorite of all the cardio workouts in the program. Last week I was able to complete the entire 30 minutes without a break or maxing out. So now that I’ve done that once, it’s expected of me to achieve that every time which makes things even more difficult.
Day 43 Max Out Cardio
Last week on day 37 I completed Max Out Cardio without maxing out and that was the goal for today. I’m proud to say that I made it, but there were times I had to question myself. I’m still following the modifier through 90% of the workout and will continue to do so. If I do another round in the future I will go without the modifier but for now I need to stay with it. With the month 2 MAX workouts I thought they would just be the bain of my Insanity Max 30 existence but instead they have rejuvenated me. In fact I like them better than the month one workouts. They are more difficult but they’re still only 30 minutes. Had they added 10-15 more minutes these would just be completely insane. I like that they added “power moves” between each circuit too. Next week will be my last Max Out Cardio workout in this round and I’m excited to be so close to the end. I need to remain focused on the task at hand though and take it one day at a time and not get too far ahead of myself.
