Here I am at Day 44 and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Today was a weird day. I woke up tired and sore as the usual lately. I didn’t really feel like doing today’s workout knowing it was the longest of the Max workouts, Max Interval Circuit. I knew I wasn’t going to not do it I just didn’t have my mind on it today. HOWEVER, once I got into the workout something took over and I had the best workout to date with these Max workouts. I even impressed myself today! So by the end of the workout I was totally exhausted giving it everything I had AND rejuvenated by how well I did. Ready to take on the world today.
Day 44 Max Interval Circuit
As I mentioned above I woke up today not really amped up for day 44 in the Insanity Challenge. Everything has caught up to me and I’m extremely sore and tired. Although I did have a great night of sleep. Knowing today’s workout was about 60 minutes didn’t help my mind-set going into it. I have come way to far to fall off the wagon and I knew there was no way I’d skip it. Once I got going I seemed to be drawn into the workout. All the outside noise seemed to go away and I was able to focus and push myself harder today than I have been able to on these Max Workouts. I did each and every set to my best and took very few breaks compared to the first two go arounds with this workout. By the time I got to the last circuit it was all will power that I completed the sets as my legs and shoulders were toast. I was extremely proud of myself and have a new sense of focus moving forward in the Insanity Challenge. Tomorrow is day 45 and it marks the 3/4 of the way through the Challenge so I’ll be updating my measurements and pics for the last time until the end of the Insanity Challenge. I’m hoping to have broke through my last plateau but won’t know until tomorrow.
Day 44 Max Interval Circuit Nutrition
I started day 44 off on the right foot with some egg whites, toast and a green apple. I wasn’t sure what to have for lunch since I needed to go to the grocery store and haven’t had a chance to yet. I’m starting to run out of my everyday go to items so I had to go with something different for lunch today. I decided in eating the Egg Sandwich from the Insanity Nutrition Guide. It calls for a tomato which I’m completely out of so I upped the egg whites to get more protein and added a side of almonds. At dinner I baked some tilapia with a cup of steamed broccoli. Being I had more calories to reach and left over grilled chicken I heated that up as well. Not your conventional dinner but it was pretty good and it helped me reach my day 44 nutrition goals. I finished the day with 2009 calories and my macro-nutrients at 45-35-20. Stay Tuned.
