Day 48 in the books and I am feeling amazing! Today’s workout was a bit different from the last two weeks. And it was a nice change but have to admit I missed the Max workouts. My body probably appreciates the lighter duty Core Cardio and Balance routine but I feel I wanted more.
Day 48 Core Cardio and Balance
Day 48 in the Insanity Challenge calls for Core Cardio and Balance. If you remember we did this workout 6 days in a row during our recovery week. At that time I was sick of this routine. It’s was a different story today. I enjoyed today’s workout and pushed harder than I would normally do in the recovery week. Making this workout a good calorie burner and best of all its short at only 38 minutes. When I purchased Insanity back in 2009 I order the Provigil vs adderall which came with a few bonus workouts. Today is where they come into play. Since I am doing this right by side one of my Insanity Challenge groups and they don’t have the deluxe version I stuck to the basic schedule. If you do have the deluxe version today’s workout would be Max Interval Sports Training. Although I didn’t do it today I may do it once before I complete the Insanity Challenge so I can give a little insight to the workout.
Hard to believe this is the end of week 7! Only two weeks left and I am done with this challenge. My next Challenge will be the Focus T-25 workout coming out in June. Only 25 minutes per day, 5 days per week. That will be a nice fit in the middle of Summer with the kids home from school and wanting to stay busy. I won’t have much time to invest in long workouts. Day 48 Core Cardio and Balance Nutrition
Dy 48 nutrition was another good day for me. Weekends continue to be the hardest time for me to stay up with my nutrition. Even though I have yet to falter it’s still harder to maintain the will power. I woke up and started the day with the egg sandwich from the Insanity nutrition guide. Lunch was really simple. Yesterday I made the Chicken meatball meal and made extra chicken meatballs. So today I had the left over chicken meatball over whole wheat pasta with a side of steamed broccoli. At dinner my wife and I baked up some chicken and added some asparagus for a nice veggie treat. I completed day 48 with 1964 calories and with my macro-nutrients at 46-35-19. Stay Tuned.
