So here I am at day 51 and the second transition week. After pushing myself very hard in the 2nd block of this P90X3 Challenge I was hopeful for some relief this week, especially in the legs. My legs are still very sore and after yesterday’s Isometrix workout they weren’t any better. Not that they should be with all the balance on one leg moves. I was looking forward to Dynamix today since I knew it was the replacement for a rest day if you wanted that option. I didn’t remember the moves involved in the routine but I knew it was some kind of stretch workout.
Day 51 Dynamix
As I said my legs are still really sore and Dynamix was the one workout I was looking forward to, to give my legs some rest. Well, throw that out the window! There is a lot of stretching in this workout which was great and highly appreciated but what’s was with all the lunges. I was sweating my butt off and could hardly do some of the moves being from being so sore. It made each move that much more difficult. I don’t remember having this many issues with this workout the last time I did it. Now after these first 2 days in this transition week and my legs still not getting much rest I’m weary of not only the rest of this week but what’s coming in the following weeks were we actually work on the legs. On top of all that I have Accelerator tomorrow…oh boy! I think I’m going to need to pull out my rumble roller and do some work on my legs so I can manage to get through this week. Stay tuned…
Day 51 Dynamix Nutrition
Breakfast – egg whites, goat cheese, whole grain toast with preserves(8 oz. green tea)
Post Workout – Chocolate Shakeology, add whey protein
Lunch – 4 oz baked chicken, brown rice, bowl of veggies
Snack – Quest Protein Bar, low-fat mozzarella cheese stick
Dinner – baked shrimp, bowl of veggies
Snack – whey protein shake, .75 oz almonds
