Day 52 in the Insanity Challenge proved to be a butt kicker. Not only does it have you going back to back with Max Cardio Conditioning with Cardio Abs but it’s nearing the end of the challenge. Everyday I mark off another day on my Insanity Calendar and I can see the end getting closer and closer. Only 1 – 1/2 weeks remain.
Day 52 Max Cardio Conditioning with Cardio Abs
Day 52 felt like the worst day in the Insanity Challenge for me personally. As I mentioned yesterday was a little off for me. And then today was even worse. I feel like I am completely out of energy. Not to mention I didn’t get a very good night of sleep on top of that. And with not officially having an off day everything may have caught up to me. I wasn’t in to today’s workout at all, there were even times I contemplated just turning it off. I felt sluggish and just didn’t want to do it. I did however, complete the entire thing and I pushed myself on some of the moves but on others I didn’t work to awful hard. Let’s just say I’m happy I got it done and that tomorrow is a recovery day. I’m very hopeful tomorrow will get me out of this funk I have been in. I know it’s because my exhausted, tired, sore and didn’t get enough sleep, but I will push through this phase and get it done. I just need to get back my momentum so I can knock out this last week and a half.
Day 52 Max Cardio Conditioning with Cardio Abs Nutrition
Day 52 was a hard day in terms of the workout, but the nutrition is still on track. At breakfast I started the day with some egg whites with whole grain toast. My post workout and first snack were as usual in the way of the Results and Recovery drink and my daily Shakeology. Lunch I went with something quick and easy. I had about a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese served with a cup of diced strawberries and a side of almonds. Cottage cheese is starting to grow on me now, it was hard in the beginning to get use to the texture but I rather enjoy it now. For dinner I went with Shaun T’s Shakeology recipe again. I wasn’t in the mood to cook so this fit in nicely. I took away the banana and added whey protein to his recipe. I also added a cup of fresh baby spinach. Spinach is a very healthy green and it can even help with muscle soreness. I added it straight to my Shakeology and mixed it well. Believe it or not you don’t even taste it. I finished day 52 with 1936 calories and my macro’s at 45-35-20. Stay Tuned.
