Day 55 is the last workout in the 2nd transition week. We cap off this week with X3 Yoga. This was a great way to finish out the week. A nice workout of stretching and balance to prepare for what’s to come next week.
Day 55 X3 Yoga
I felt like I did this routine much better today than I have in the past. I tried to make it a little more intense as much as I could. It’s not really a big calorie burner for me. In fact out of the 6 workouts this week only 2 had any kind of significant calorie burn. The balance moves in X3 yoga is where I can see the most improvement. Being able to hold a move with out flailing around as much as I was before is nice to see. I’m really getting excited for the coming weeks as we are narrowing down the days until the completion of the P90X3 Challenge.
Day 55 X3 Yoga Nutrition
I was kind of lazy towards my nutrition today. I opted to have my shakeology twice today to keep things simple for myself. We went to Arby’s for lunch with friends and family and knowing there is not much there to even consider nutritional I went ahead and got the turkey swiss sandwich, don’t worry I ordered it plain. Even though I was lazy with my nutrition today it really wasn’t all too bad. The one thing I did notice was that my calorie intake for today was kind of low. Going into the next block I may begin to track my calories and macros just to give the last phase my best effort.
Breakfast – Chocolate Shakeology, almond butter, add whey protein (8 oz. green tea)
Lunch – Arby’s turkey swiss sandwich, plain
Snack – Quest Protein Bar
Dinner – Chocolate Shakeology, almond butter, add whey protein
Snack – 8 oz, milk, .50 oz almonds
