Here we go, day 57 and the last week of the Insanity Challenge. After my first rest day in more than 10 days yesterday I thought I would come into today’s workout with a lot of energy. That was not the case today, I didn’t feel energized and I had a slight headache on top of everything. I pushed as hard as I could and had a good workout. Only 6 days remain!
Day 57 Max Interval Plyo
Day 57 and Max Interval Plyo hit me hard today. I pushed up the intensity and for the first time in a long time I started to feel a bit nauseated. Maybe just a case of the Monday’s, I’m not sure. The first circuit in this routine has a ton of squats and jumps. Not to mention the last move of four moves in the first circuit is my favorite “Power Jumps“. Those just kill me not to mention I’m already spent before I even get there. To be honest I modified the power jumps into high jumps. It still gets the heart rate way up but I’m able to do more of the rest of the workout. I burned over 600 calories today and the most important thing is that I GOT IT DONE!
This is the last week in the Insanity Challenge and it’s not going to be an easy one. I have to double up on 2 different workouts this week. I have to do today’s workout again for the last time on Day 61. I also noticed that there is no recovery workout in this last week. I’m interested to see how I finish up.
Day 57 Max Interval Plyo Nutrition
My day 57 nutrition was on par again. I started the day off with egg whites and toast again. My post workout and first snack were as usual per everyday in the way of the Results and Recovery formula and Shakeology. If you struggle with your nutrition I highly suggest looking into Shakeology. It will not only simplify your daily nutrition but it has so many benefits you don’t want to over look it. Check it out here. Sorry for the tangent but I know the hardest part of any workout regimen is the nutrition and you’ll want to get the nutrition done as well as possible for maximum results. At lunch I grilled some chicken and added to a bowl of brown rice and steamed peas and corn. Dinner was quick since we took the kids to the movies to watch the film Epic. I just reheated some chicken from lunch and added a side or broccoli and almonds. I finished day 57 with 1955 calories with my macros at 44-36-20. Stay Tuned.
