Day 58 is the first time we return to the Agility X workout since day 16. Having variety in a workout program is a must so that workouts don’t become boring and lose there effectiveness. This is one thing I think P90X3 has hit a home run with. Having 16 or more workouts we are able to transition between blocks and not use the same workout over and over. This is one reason I feel that we’ll see more people complete the program compared to it’s previsous versions. And being only 30 minutes has a hand in that as well.
Day 58 Agility X
Agility X is one of the best cardio workouts in P90X3. There is no way you should finish this workout and not be soaked in sweat. We transition through moves pretty quickly and as we were going through it I was starting to remember the cues from the first block. I feel like I have improved on this workout as far as the cardio but my agility needs some more attention. It’s hard to believe there is only one more time that I get to tackle this workout in this P90X3 challenge. I’ll have to make sure I make the best of it.
Day 58 Agility X Nutrition
Day 2 of tracking my nutrition was good. Already I’m getting a feel for the new macro setting of 30-40-30. Scheduling out the nutrition for the day was much easier and quicker than it was yesterday. Yesterday I meal prepped some baked chicken so I’ll be using it a lot this week. Anything to make it easier is the way to go, trust me. I kept with the same breakfast as yesterday and lunch I went with a recipe I found from FitMenCook on instagram. At dinner I cut up some New York Strip steak and cooked it up with some asparagus and quinoa. I finished off the day with some strawberries and pistachios. I completed my nutrition on day 58 with 1866 calories and my macros came in at 31-40-29. Stay tuned!
