Day 59 of the Insanity Challenge brings me to my very last meeting with Max Interval Circuit. I’m not going to sugar coat it, I’m happy I’m done with this workout. It’s the longest and most difficult in my opinion of the Max workouts. Nonetheless I got it done and I’m looking at only 3 more workouts and the fit test to complete the Insanity Challenge.
Quick Insanity Rant
I wonder if this is the point where most people break down and quit Insanity. I have to admit this has been the most difficult week (still 3 days left) in the Insanity Challenge for me. My legs are done, I can’t hardly to any move without feeling soreness. One would think most people would be invigorated at this point and get done with flying colors. But Insanity is just so intense of a workout that after 8.5 weeks of pushing yourself it catches up to you. I’m basically going off of pure will power now. On the other side I have taking the nutrition so serious that I haven’t had any cheat meals and I track everything I put in my mouth. After 59 days it’s all will power to get done with the best results I personally can get. I’m just burnt out on everything right now and can’t wait to get his done. However I will stick to the nutrition and the workouts until the very last day is completed not matter what, I’m committed to this and I will prevail. Nothing is going to stop me. I just needed to have a little rant and now I’m ready to go.
Day 59 Max Interval Circuit
Day 59 is the last time I have to doMax Interval Circuit. I can’t believe this challenge is coming to a close in a few short days. I pushed through today as much as I could but I can’t help feel like I’m just going through the motions. My legs are still very sore and it’s takes everything I have just to do some of these circuits. Being there are 3 circuits in this workout it really makes it one tough cookie to swallow. I still have a real hard time doing the full body move in the 3rd circuit. Honestly a few times I take a break there and let the cast work through it. Not sure why that one move gets me every time. Like I said I motored through and got it done and I’m glad to say goodbye to this particular workout.
Day 59 Max Interval Circuit Nutrition
I continue to keep my nutrition in check on day 59. Breakfast was the basic egg whites and whole wheat toast. I almost always have my Shakeology at my first snack of the day. And that continued today BUT I switched up the recipe and went with Shaun T’s Shakeology Recipe. At lunch I made a deli sandwich with a side of almonds. I completely forgot that I had fish in the freezer which I hadn’t had in a long time. That made it the perfect time to have a little variety and eat some Tilapia instead of chicken again. I baked the tilapia and added a side of steamed peas. This was the first day in some time now that I didn’t have chicken in my nutrition, well that will probably change tomorrow. I completed day 59 with 1998 calories and my macro-nutrients finished a little heavy on the fat side at 42-36-22. Stay Tuned.
