I swear Triometrics is more like Legs and Back of P90X than Plyometrics ever was. Day 61 and triometrics still kills my legs. And just to be clear there is no true leg workout this week, so I may be on to something. The trouble is that next week we have eccentric lower AND triometrics, that is going to be a couple of rough days.
Day 61 Triometrics
I felt like I had a better workout today than any of my previous go around with this workout. Even though by the end I was doing a lot more “watching” than “doing”. Being that they focus mostly on the legs and lunges and squats (the larger muscle groups) my heart rate jumps up, however something I noticed today was how quick it came back down. My cardio my actually be getting better, how about that. And on top of that I burned more calories today than the last time I did this workout. With my heart rate recovering much faster and still burning more calories that has to be good news right.
Day 61 Triometrics Nutrition
My nutrition for today was a bit off due to going out to eat with my family. We usually visit Chick Fil A on Fridays to enjoy a nice dinner to whine down from the week. The problem is that it’s my favorite “fast food” resturant so picking something that won’t kill my nutrition is hard. I went with nuggets and a fruit cup with a water. Not the best but it was doable, and it fit into my macros and calories for the day. The rest of day 61 nutrition was as usual. I finished the day with 1912 calories and 32-40-28. Stay Tuned.
