Day 68 in the P90X3 schedule calls for Pilates X. There’s only one problem with that…I hate it. So since this week doesn’t have a yoga workout I swamped Pilates with it. I just didn’t feel like arbitrarily going through the motions in Pilates X while not enjoying it at all. It’s probably the only workout in the entire P90X3 challenge workouts I will never do again.
Day 68 Pilates X – replaced with X3 Yoga
So ya, I don;t like pilates x, but that didn’t mean I can;t get a good workout in today. Like I said above I just swamped it with yoga. In the original P90X I hated the yoga workout, mostly because it was 90 minutes long. 30 minutes seems to be perfect mount of time for a yoga workout in my books. And on top of that I really enjoy the entire X3 yoga routine. I still stumble around and don’t have much in the way of flexibility but I’m working on it. I think that even after I complete the 90 days of X3 I’ll continue doing the X3 yoga routine once per week. Can you believe this is almost the end of week 10! Only one more workout this week and I’m excited to get it done!
Day 68 Pilates X Nutrition
Today we started out with a good old egg white and toast breakfast. Probably my favorite, but if you have been following any of these P90X3 challenge posts then you already know that. Being that I only did yoga today there was no need for the Results and recovery formula so I used my Shakeology as the post workout shake. Lunch I reheated the left over spinach meatballs I prepared yesterday and added some brown rice. Since it’s Friday, it’s our weekly trip to Chick Fil A. I guess you could call this my cheat meal for the week but I’ll probably eat out at least one more time this weekend. If you look at my nutrition below every one of my numbers ended up in the “red” except for the carbs. My biggest concern was I went over on the fat macros but I’m pretty confident for the week it will be where I want it. I finished day 68 with 1931 calories and the macros finished at 33-36-31. Stay Tuned.
