Once again I found myself looking forward to doing X3 Yoga. Day 74 of the P90X3 Challenge and I’m still going strong. I’m extremely sore from yesterdays workout but yoga helped with that all too well. This is one routine I plan to continue in the future, it’s so rejuvenating.
Day 74 X3 Yoga
I have pretty much done this workout once a week since we started this challenge. And honestly I thought my improvement would have been much more noticeable by now but it’s not. I am better at almost every move in the workout but I was thinking the stumbling would have stopped completely this far in. No way am I discouraged, let’s face the facts here, I’ve only done this routine maybe 10 times so it’s not something to worry about…yet. I don’t normally wear my heart rate monitor during X3 yoga because the calorie burn is fairly low and a calorie burn is not my focus during this workout. However today, for fun, I decided to wear it to see how many calories I burned. I was actually surprised it was more than 200. I finished the X3 Yoga workout with a total of 219 calories burned.
Day 74 X3 Yoga Nutrition
My nutrition on day 74 was much better than yesterday’s. I got my sugar way down from yesterday as well as the sodium. I started out today with oatmeal with walnuts and whey added to it. Being it was yoga day I didn’t take the Results and Recovery formula since it wasn’t needed. For dinner I had a breakfast style meal, it’s nice to mix things up from time to time. Plus I wasn’t in the mood to cook. I finished day 74 under my calorie goal with 1839 calories and my macros at 41-35-25. Stay tuned.
