Woohoo day 79 and MMX is here. Man I have to say I really enjoy this workout. And I don’t know about you but when I like a workout it gives me thast extra push and I temd to workout even harder than usual. And MMX is that workout for me. I look forward to it when I see it one the schedule.
Day 79 MMX
My legs are still really sore form this weekend tournament (and workout) so I was timid on some of the kicks in the MMX workoout today. Being this close to the end I didn’t want to pull a muscle. I was able to keep up with the cast once again today and the workout kicked ass. My heart rate monitor wouldn’t connect via bluetooth so I don’t have the calorie burn numbers, but I know I crushed it. Unfortunately this is the last time I get to do this workout in this P90X3 Challenge. However I do plan to continue to use this workout as it’s so good and so much fun.
Day MMX Nutrition
I decided to stay with oatmeal for breakfast, I don’t know why, I guess I’m just enjoying it more lately. For my post workout shake I wanted to try a new recipe I heard from the man himself Tony Horton. All you do is take your 1 scoop of vanilla shakeology, 1 scoop of Result & Recovery formula and 8oz of almond milk. It was definietly different from the usual post workout drink. It’s full of everything you need post workout and I’ll use it from time to time just not everyday. Dinner time meal was new york strip steak cooked with asparagus. It’s probably my kids favorite meal of the week. I added a little brown rice and it was a hearty meal that everyone enjoyed. I finished day 79 with 2032 calories and the macros at 39-39-22.
