Eccentric upper is the workout on the P90X3 schedule for day 80. Eccentric upper is one of the upper body workouts in the P90X3 Challenge that I really like but the pacing is still too fast for me. I still have to pause the DVD to set up my weights between moves. Nonetheless it’s a good workout and pausing it doesn’t add too much time to the overall workout.
Day 80 Eccentric Upper
Day 80 was the last time we take on this workout although I see me doing it again in the near future on a day when I want to get a quick upper body workout in. Today I didn’t up my weights but instead focused more on my form and range of motion. I wanted to get a good workout in without forcing the weights like I had been before. Only one strength training workout remains in this 90 days and it will come in the form of eccentric lower. I only have 10 days to go and I think I’m just about ready to move on to the next thing, it’s just that I don’t know what I want to do. Plus I don’t want to put too much energy into thinking about the next thing. I want to finish what I started and do so to the best of my ability. I can definitely see improvements in strength and endurance and even a little definition in my body. This makes me all the more excited to keep going!
Day 80 Eccentric Upper Nutrition
Kept my nutrition as its has been the last few weeks. Nothing new or exciting just trying to get enough protein, carbs and fats each day to meet my macros as close as possible. I finished day 80 with 1999 calories and my macros at 42-39-19. This was the lowest I have finished a day with my fat percentage so I’m proud of that. I also kept my sugar below 50 and my fiber above 25 so today was a good day. Stay tuned.
