Day 81 is a great day for me, it’s the last day in the P90X3 challenge that we do the triometrics workout. I don’t know why but I have something personal against this workout and I really hate it. Hate is probably not the right word but for today it was, I was pissed off at it lol. Today was very hard to even push play to begin the workout. Needless to say I didn’t have a good workout today.
Day 81 Triometrics
Triometrics is a really tough workout on me. It is a hard workout but that’s not my problem with it. I really feel like my biggest issue with this routine is the scheduling. After all, it’s a good high intensity workout. Where I find issues is that it’s technically a leg workout IMO. A tons of squats and lunges and even some on one leg. And guess what’s on the schedule in 2 days….Eccentric Lower..I mean, really!? I guess I should be thankful there is a day in between 2 leg workouts. My legs are still squeamish from this past weekend. My mind wasn’t into this workout today and I was “dogging it” before I just up and quit with about 9 minutes left. I’m moving on from this workout and looking forward to yoga tomorrow to get a real good stretch and rest day. Triometrics is not a workout I’m going to miss as I move onto the next thing.
Day 81 Triometrics Nutrition
Another day of good nutrition in the books. I continue to keep my nutrition fairly similar from day-to-day, but try to change-up a few meals every week to keep somethings fresh. I’m doing better at getting more veggies in my day but it’s probably not as much as I need it. I finished day 81 with 2013 calories and my macros at 42-37-21.
