Eccentric lower is the last official strength workout of this P90X3 Challenge. Day 83 and eccentric lower were a good combination, the workout went very well and I enjoyed it. Being a leg workout I was surprised as to how fast today’s workout went by, even with having to pause the dvd a few times to switch the weights. All in all a good day.
Day 83 Eccentric Lower
The way the end of this week was going I wasn’t to confident in having a good workout today. However I was fairly surprised it went so well. One thing I changed up for today was instead of increasing the weight on the exercises I actually decreased the weight (on a few) and focused more on the range of motion, going deeper into the moves. I think even though I was proud I was lifting heavier weight as I progressed I was losing range of motion at the same time. So I went back to the basics and made sure to get the full benefit from the eccentric lower workout.
Day 83 Eccentric Lower Nutrition
My day 83 nutrition was once again sub par but not too bad. Just the fact that I ate out is what makes it bad. I have been at a plateau over the last week so for a couple of days I dropped my calories under my goal. Tomorrow I’ll go back to my 2,000 per day goal. I just wanted to see if the slight change-up would help me get out of the plateau. I’ll know tomorrow if it worked. Although after the last few days of sub par nutrition I don’t expect to see the scale go down, I just hope it doesn’t go up. I finished day 83 with 1786 calories and a macro of 42-38-20.
