Day 9 of Insanity Max 30 is the return to Tabata Power. This is the strength routine of the program and Shaun T makes sure he hits most of the major muscle groups. The thing that’s nice about this program is there is no need for any additional gear.
Day 9 Tabata Power
My day was a little off kilter being I had to work this morning, which is when I generally like to do my workouts. It’s just nice to get my Insanity Max 30 workouts in and over with in the morning. After I returned home I had less than an hour before I needed to head back out so I took the opportunity to push play and get it done. I wasn’t really confident today that I would be able to beat my previous Max Out time of 10:47. But once I got going there was no stopping me! Well…except those blasted tricep dips! I was able to push through (still following the modifier) and Max out at 23:38 which blew my mind. If it wasn’t for those tricep dips crushing my triceps I could have gone longer. Nonetheless I’m very proud of that number even if it’s modified.

Day 9 Tabata Power Nutrition
Nothing new here with my nutrition. Today I went back to and older turkey chili recipe that I enjoy. I continue to eat the Tex Mex spring rolls and make them weekly. Those things are amazing and I’ll continue to keep them until they get old I guess. Like I said nothing new but I continue to keep my nutrition fairly clean for the most part. More veggies, I got to get in more veggies..anyone else struggle with getting enough veggies? It’s a good thing I have my daily Shakeology!
Breakfast: 2 egg scrambled, slice of whole grain toast with strawberry preserves
Lunch: Tex Mex Spring rolls
Dinner: Turkey Chili
Snack: Fruit Bowl (Strawberries, watermelon, pine apple)
