Welcome to Chalene Johnson’s Turbo Fire workout, a program designed to get you in shape with high energy workouts and effective stretches! The minute you start Turbo Fire with the first DVD, Fire 30 Class, you’re bound to feel the effectiveness of the program.
Chalene starts off the 30-minute class with a four-minute warm up that truly gets you warm. For people who are accustomed to Chalene’s style of workout, you won’t be disappointed! The warm up will include punches and squats at a very high pace, accompanied by high energy music to keep you going. There’s a short stretching session before you head off into the main workout.
The workout in Chalene’s Fire 30 Class is truly filled with drills that she is famously known for. You’ll instantly start out with fast series of throw jabs, hook shots and uppercut punches that really get your arms and core muscles working. Of course, the core becomes engaged because with every punch, your body will be twisting to achieve maximum power.
Sky punches are up next in the Fire 30 Class, followed by the super-intense football drills designed to really get your energy flowing. Once you’re done, it’s time to repeat the whole sequence on the other side. That’s right – all of that has to be repeated on the other side!
More football drills, punches and burpies come into play as soon as the fire drill bell sounds. You’ll also be exposed to jumping jacks as part of this one-minute high energy madness! But don’t worry, you’ll get a one-minute break!
After the break, you’ll work out with a less-intense sequence of high knees and kicks on either side, followed by a final fire drill to really pull that last ounce of energy out of you!
The program will culminate with four minutes of cool down time, which is just what you’ll need after successfully completing Fire 30 Class!
