Shaun T’s Insanity program has arrived to my door. Me and my wife (Samantha) will be starting the Insanity Monday July 20th. I have to say we are excited and a little scared. I have completed 2 rounds of P90X, however I have not had an intense workout in over a month. Samantha has completed Chalean Extreme and we are going to do our best the new Insanity workout. You can follow Samantha’s progress at her blog. Insanity is probably the hardest workout EVER put on dvd. This is not created for beginners, maybe not even for intermediates, wish us luck in our goal to complete the 60 days of Insanity.

I decided to purchase the “Deluxe” version of Insanity. The deluxe version comes with 3 additional workouts, which will be used in month two. Insanity is a 60 day cardio workout. Monday we will be doing the “Fit test”. This is a 25 minute workout where we will record how many of each specific exercise we do in a sixty second period. Every two weeks we will revisit the “fit test” and try to improve on our numbers.
Supplements:
Performance Formula- I will be taking Beachbody Performance tablets every day before my workouts, these will assist me in having the energy to complete these Insane workouts.
Whey Protein- In order to meet my reguired protein in a day I will be drinking a whey protein shake daily (maybe 2) Each shake has 52 grams of protein.
Results and Recovery Formula-Due to the extreme nature of each of these workouts, the Recovery Formula is a must, I may even have a little during my workouts to help me get through them.
Shakeology- In addition to the above items I will be drinking Beachbody’s Shakeology, it will aid in energy and vital nutrients and minerals my body will need during this routine.
