P90X Insanity Week 1 Phase 3 Update | 4 Weeks to go

hybrid

Week 9

Begin week 9! This is the first week of Phase 3. My goal for this phase is to meet my goal weight of 185-183 pounds. Being this Phase is 5 weeks long so meeting my goal weight should be easily obtainable, especially being that I’m at 188.4 at the start of this week. If you have been following me you may have read that I’m going for broke this phase upping my weight and reps on each move that I can. Also I will be starting my softball season this week so I’m considering taking Saturday and Sunday as off days with playing 2 days per week on top of the regular workouts. I will have to see how I feel.
Like in most Beachbody programs P90X is set up to give you the most results at the end of the program so I have to say I’m excited to start this phase. I have done P90X before and originally lost 36 pounds with it, so I can personally attest to the Month 3 results boost. Bring It!

W9D1 – P90X Chest & Back ARX – Brought it today. I upped my reps today probably above what I’ve I ever done. I have to say I just about over did it though, feeling nauseaded right now trying to recover with my recover drink…
W9D2 – Insanity Cardio Core & Balance – I really didn’t feel like doing it today, but I just pushed play and went with it. Know you will hit walls throughout your own routine, you just need to push play and do it! It works!
W9D3 – P90X Shoulders & Arms ARX – Awesome workout today, I lifted heavier than I have ever even tried today on the shoulder moves. Mainly due to not having enough weight to lift, but with the Selecttechs I’m easily able to up the weight. Felt good to go back to this workout having not done it since W3D3.
W9D4 – P90X Cardio X – I wasn’t really into it today, maybe I’m getting tired of this routine, maybe I didn’t really want to do any Yoga, maybe both. I still went pretty intense but at the same time felt like I was “dogging it”. May consider changing Thursday’s workout next week…
W9D5 – P90X Legs & Back ARX – TGIF! I’m starting to find it harder to push play…more in the sense of just doing it, but it has became such a habit I don’t see me skipping anything, it’s just getting harder. I’m cutting tomorrows run in half and making it only 1 mile and taking the rest of the weekend off. Hope to start next week with a clean head.
W9D6 – 1 Mile Run – I decided on only running one mile, I figured it was better than nothing at all.
W9D7 – OFF

Week In Review:
All in all another good week for me, 63 days completed. Still drinking my Shakeology everyday and I’m not sure what I would do with out it. In addition to my whey protein I take twice a day I have also continued to use the Results and Recovery Formula, especially as hard as I’m pushing myself these days. My diet has stayed in check with no cheat meals and I hit all my workouts and brought it each day, even if I wasn’t feeling it that day. I’m not going to weigh in this week. I feel better and that’s the best feeling you can have. I only need a few pounds to reach my goal so I’m not really worried because I know I will hit it with 4 weeks to go. I’m pushing harder in these last weeks than I probably ever have in all my experience with P90X, hoping for the best! Stay Tuned.
