The start of this week was a little different from my last 5. We left Sunday on a mini vacation to Orlando, just to get away. I did take my dumbbells, workout DVD’s and Shakeology, but the time really didn’t reveal itself and on top of that I ended up getting a migraine. But I did drink my Shakeology everyday.
We returned home Wednesday afternoon tired and craving our own bed. I honestly did not feel like working out and argued with myself most of the afternoon. About 6:30 pm my conscious won me over and I went to push play. So glad I did, now I can get in all five of my workouts this week.
W6D1 – Vacation
W6D2 – Vacation
W6D3 – P90X Chest Shoulders & Triceps – Like I said before I really didn’t want to work out today but my conscious won me over and I went at it. I even increased weight or reps on each move. Doing this workout in the evening made it hard on me, mainly because I’m use to working out in the morning. I ended up feeling weak the rest of the evening, probably didn’t get enough calories for the day on top of everything else.
W6D4 – Insanity Cardio Core and Balance – I can start to feel a difference every time I do this routine. I try to raise my intensity each time and I can just about keep up with the crew speed for speed.
W6D5 – P90X Back & Biceps ARX – Still a favorite of mine. I went a bit heavier again today.
W6D6 – Cardio X – With this week being off a bit, doing Cardio X on Saturday was a little weird. I like to sleep in on Saturday’s but I’m committed to this and I’m NOT going to start to slip after 40 days of going for it. So I got up at my normal “week day time” and did it hard and heavy.
W6D7 – P90X Legs & Back – Another good workout today, I did today’s routine in the evening because we go to church in the am as a family. I don’t really like to workout in the evening but had to do it twice this week. All in all this was a good week for me, I got all my workouts in and was able to up weight and reps respectively. Ready for more
Week in review:
Had a different kind of week, I don’t like changing things up. The start of this week I was on a mini family vacation. Like I mentioned earlier I did take the DVD’s and dumbbells, but it just didn’t work out for me. So I had to start my week on Wednesday. Nevertheless I have got all my workouts in and kept my diet in check for the most part. I did have a bit of a hic-cup during my vacation but it was less than a cheat meal, more of a cheat item lol. Next week is the last resistance week of this phase. I decided not to weigh in this week. I’m going to wait until day 45, which is next Wednesday. Whether my weigh goes down more or not my clothes are getting looser everyday. I’m already in need of some new workout shorts, mine are falling off during the Insanity routines. I’m feeling great and starting to see a bit of definition in different areas of my body. I attribute the way I feel and the weigh loss a lot to drinking Shakeology.
