Insanity Workout Weight Loss Success | Jeff Loses 150 Pounds with Insanity

Jeff's Insanity results imageThe Insanity Workout is a high intensity workout program designed to push you to your max each and everyday you push play. You are going to want to take a look at Jeff’s video below to see his success story with Insanity. Jeff lost more than 150 pounds! Yea, that’s not a typo, 150 pounds. He started at an estimated 375 pounds, why is his starting weight estimated? Because his scale only went up to 350. With the added weight he also had high blood pressure which obviously meant he wasn’t feeling to well. Insanity to the rescue, he noticed it was intense and wasn’t going to be easy. At 375 pounds he had to modify a lot of moves and omit jumping for awhile but after a few rounds he started crushing it. And to top it all off he got a personal congratualtions from the Insanity man himself Shaun T. how cool is that. Way to go Jeff!

New Hybrid Workout Combining P90X Insanity & RevAbs | Max Hybrid Workout

New HybridAfter taking some time off from my workouts to enjoy the Holidays I am getting back to the grind starting Monday January 4th. I have done P90X in many variations including the Lean and classic. I have also done the first 30 days of the Insanity workout. Next I did the P90X Insanity Hybrd workout. During my hybrid workout I added the Revabs “Fire Up Your Abs” to my hybrid. I really enjoyed the Hybrid workout and if you are stuck between workouts or find yourself getting bored with your current setup I highly suggest the P90X Insanity hybrid. There are many varitaions of the hybrid and you can view mine here.

So what to do now?

I have decided to a new combination hybrid workout. I’m calling it the “MAX Hybrid Workout”. Combining P90X, Insanity and RevAbs in a different way than before. Starting Monday I will start Insanity in a 5 day per week schedule and I will do this for 30 days. The next 30 days will consist of P90X and Insanity (My original Hybrid). And the last 30 days will consist of month 2 P90X workouts and month 2 Insanity combined together as a MAX Hybrid Workout.

So how does the schedule look?

Brett Hoebel, RevAbs Drops by Good Morning America

Watch Brett Hoebel and Tanya Rivero REV it up on the popular ABC News Show – Good Morning America. Tanya pays some dues and gets her sweat on doing some lunges, intervals, and crunches with El Capitan and RevAbs.

I have only done one of the Revabs workouts and I have to say the guy knows his stuff. Currently I’m working out with Insanity, P90X and recently added the Revabs workout called Fire Up Your Abs.

NO MORE B.S. | P90X Combined with Insanity Workout

P90X Insanity Hybrid WorkoutI always seem to start off good but then for some reason or another a waiver from my workouts. Probably a lack of self control. I have started over again with my P90X Insanity Hybrid workout. And this time NO BS! Even when I did the workouts I was cutting them short, NO MORE. I will be doing everyworkout in it’s entirety including the bonus rounds. If I have to I will be pressing pause, something I hate to do. I am going to commit myself to this like I did with my first 30 days of Insanity. I decided to change my hybrid workout to a 5 day a week workout. Giving me 2 days off will not only give me the rest I need, but will also give me flexibility if I have to miss a workout I will be able to get it in on one of my off days.

Day 1 Monday – P90X Chest and Back, Good day to start out with, like I mentioned before, I usually cut this one short and only do the first round. Mind you I go at it pretty hard in the first round knowing I wasn’t doing the second. This was not the case today, I did the entire workout and I’m proud of myself. I also have started to track my calories. I was surprised I was WAY to low on my calories for today. At only 1500 for the day I was way under my mark of 2000 plus. I will obviously be adding calories.

Workout Time: 55:53
In Target Zone: 25:00
Avg Heart Rate: 115
Peak Heart Rate: 153
Calories Burned: 600
Calories In: 1500

Day 2 Tuesday – Insanity Plyometric Cardio Circuit, today was the first Insanity workout in about two weeks and I really felt it. I felt pretty burned out the whole way through it. I think this is attributed by the low calorie intake from the day before. What I do like to do during Insanity is add 1 scoop of the Recovery Formula to my water. This really keeps me from crashing. My goal for today will be to make sure I get more calories. Tonight I have a softball game so I hope I won’t be to sore. I up my calories to 1,970. Still not quite as high as I am aiming for but pretty close.

Workout Time: 44:36
In Target Zone: 42:12

Peak Heart Rate: 170
Calories Burned: 732

Insanity Workout (Days 18,19 of 60)

Yesterday was my Insanity workout recovery day for this week and it was very needed. However, I could’nt do my workout out in the morning like I usually do, due to a broken water pump that had to be replaced at my house that morning. I am determined not to skip a single workout in this 60 days and yesterday was my test. After a full day of running around and an evening taking my kids to their grandparents to celebrate my dad’s birthday I found it was after 9pm when we finally got home. Like I said I was determined to finish every workout so I did the Cardio Recovery workout at 10pm! Normally, not a problem, UNTIL 7 am when I was ready to start Cardio Power & Resistance which has a lot of power moves (jump, squats, push ups) and my legs were still jello from the night before. I was able to do the workout but I feel it effected how hard I was able to push myself. I was still able to burn over 700 calories.

Cardio Recovery Stats:

Max Heart Rate – 154
Average Heart Rate –113
Calories Burned – 355

Cardio Power & Resistance Stats:

Max Heart Rate – 169
Average Heart Rate – 145
Calories Burned – 706

Total Insanity Calories Burned – 11,494

Insanity Workout Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs (Day 17 of 60)

Pure Cardio DVDMy Insanity workout tip, make sure you get plenty of sleep. My last two workouts have been really hard on me to push through. The last two nights I have not slept well on top of going to bed to late and I really feel it in my workouts. Below is a still frame pic of the end of the Pure Cardio workout. Shuan T is in the red circle. This is 15 seconds into the cool down of the workout and you can see the majority of the cast is still trying to catch their breath, most of which are still on the ground including Shaun. “This shit is bananas!”

Insanity Workout Progress Report

Plyometric Cardio Circuit DVDToday was Plyo Cardio Circuit and although I do not consider this the hardest Insanity workout to date I still have a real hard time with it. I find it difficult to even push myself at some points. All of the plyo and floor work combined must be where my problem lies. I was able to burn over 700 calories but I don’t think my mind was on it today. I had a softball game late last night and that could have contributed to my early exhaustion. I am now 25% of the way through the Insanity program. I really feel like my heart is getting better day by day with these insane workouts. I’m not sure how but Shaun T has found out how to tap into the sweat flood gates, I’ve never sweat this much during workouts. Below are my pictures and measurements 15 days into Insanity. I can’t see to much difference in the pictures but the numbers don’t lie. I’ve lost more than an inch in my waist and gained inches in my biceps and calves. Remember this is only 15 days into this workout. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for me.
