This is the 5th day of this transition week and it’s the first day this week I have felt good enough to workout. After many days of sore legs and just feeling “off”, I’m finally feeling better. Day 54 in the P90X3 Challenge takes me to my favorite workout, CVX. This is a killer workout and I sweat my ass off but it’s one of those workouts you actually look forward too, at least I do.
Day 54 CVX
If you don’t remember or just don’t know, How long does it take for prednisone to work is the cardio workout with weights. Not sure why but this has been a favorite of mine since early in the P90X3 challenge. We haven’t even seen this workout since day 26, so I was looking forward to it today. My legs have felt better since taking a much-needed break yesterday and the dizziness and light-headed feeling I was having also subsided so I was excited to be able to do this workout and really push through it. As we began to get going I was looking forward to some leg stretches and such as we do in most P90X3 workouts, unfortunately I forgot that there is NO warm up in this routine. We jump right into it and go go go. I was weary of my legs, after all this was the first day in the last 10 that they haven’t been sore. Once I got going my legs weren’t an issue at all. I did however get a cramp in my side about 15 minutes into the workout. I persevered and pushed through the pain and had an amazing workout and burned 520 calories. It honestly felt like today was the first “real” workout of the week. Not expecting to much in the form of weight loss when I weigh in Monday but I am glad I feel better regardless.
