Max out power is the workout of choice for day 37 in Insanity Max 30. After yesterday’s successful full workout without maxing out I knew today would be an entirely different story. These Insanity Max 30 strength workouts are relentless and Shaun T makes sure you’ve “maxed out”.
Day 37 Max Out Power
The Max Out Power workout is mostly about the lower body but we do have a push up, and core/back segments to make sure we don’t leave any muscles untouched. In the first series I really struggle to get through it as we are just hammering the legs with squats, pulses, chair holds and plyo moves. Just getting through that segment without stopping is an accomplishment in its own right. However right after we get our entire 30 second break (Thanks Shaun T) we start the floor work with push ups. I was proud to make it further this week before maxing out but I still just couldn’t get out of the push up series before hand. Last week I maxed out at about 12:oo and today I was able to get to 12:44 before my chest hit the floor because my shoulders/arms and chest were just spent. I need a lot of work on my upper body and if nothing else Shaun T and Insanity Max 30 is really helping in that area.
