“The hardest workout I’ve ever taught…” is not something you generally want to hear in a workout, but that was the case for day 38 of Insanity Max 30. These month 2 workouts are no joke and this is probably the toughest of them all right up there with Friday Fight Round 2.
Day 38 Max Out Sweat
I’d be lying if I said was ready to go today! I really was not into working out this morning. I have been very busy this week and just was letting my conscience get in my way. I pushed play regardless but boy was I arguing that voice in my head the whole way through the workout. At one point I even stopped and thought about just turning off the workout, you can see right where I was about to quit in the heart rate monitor image below. I never turned the dvd off but I just stopped altogether waiting for the next interval to try to give it a go once again. I’m glad I hung in there because I ended the workout strong, could I have done better? Sure, but sometime you just have to show up and do your best on that particular day. That was my day today. Even with all that going on I was able to increase my max out time, go figure!

Snack: Quest Nutrition Bar, fruit bowl and almonds
Dinner: Proatmeal recipe from Insanity Nutrition Guide
Snack: Vanilla Greek yogurt with strawberries
