“This is the hardest workout I’ve ever created” is just about the last thing you want to hear on a Friday in Insanity Max 30. That was the case once again for day 40. I have to agree with Shaun T that Friday Fight Round 2 is just relentless and insane! So Insanity Max 30 is more than a clever name it’s an idea and a kick ass workout.
Day 40 Friday fight Round 2
So here I am on day 40 and the end of week 6! I can’t believe there are only 2 weeks left in this Insanity Max 30 challenge. I’m positive those last two weeks will be hell to get through though. I continue to follow the modifier to keep all my max out times in line to be able to see how I’m progressing. Although the scale hasn’t moved much over the last 10 days I can feel a difference in my body and how my clothes are fitting. Friday Fight round 2 is a tough workout on me and today was no exception. I came out of the gate all gung-ho and was kicking butt through the first 20 minutes but then I just hit a wall and had a hard time getting through the rest of the workout. I may have went too hard at the beginning. Even so I completed it and added 23 seconds to my max out time. I maxed out on the free runner drill and what’s worse is I maxed out when there were only like 8 seconds left on that move. I will get better! It’s about being better and trying to be better, and I will be BETTER for it.
