If I haven’t said it before, Triometrics has to be the most difficult workout on me. Day 67 falls on a Thursday this week and guess what, NO YOGA! So you can imagine my surprise when I looked at the P90X3 schedule and it had triometrics for today when I was expecting yoga. What the heck are you doing to me Tony! No excuses, I pushed play and got it done!
Day 67 Triometrics
There is so much leg work in this workout that it literally wears me out before we are even close to finishing. I have to dig extra deep just to complete this workout on my feet. Today I decided to try something different from my past times with triometrics. I decided to modify! Each move has 3 progressions, each progression gets more intense. In the past I was doing the third progression but couldn’t hold on for too long. So on day 67 I modified by only doing the first 2 moves and continuing the 2nd move during the last 20 seconds. The end results was that I could go a lot longer AND I burned more calories today than the last time I did this routine. It definitely helped but in no way did it make today’s workout easy. If I had to pick a workout that I don’t in the P90X3 lineup (other than polates) it would have to be this one. And that’s probably mostly because it’s an ass kicker.
Day 67 Triometrics Nutrition
I had another great day with my workouts and nutrition. I started day 67 with oatmeal once again, what can I say, I enjoy it. I have basically kept the same things in my nutrition for the most part. It makes it easy to set up, keep to and eat. Dinner today I decided to grill up some lean pork chops, my daughters favorite, I added some green beans and rice to complete it. I finished day 67 with 1865 calories and the macros at 32-38-29. Stay tuned…
