Here we go! The final week in the 3rd block. Don’t forget we still have the “Victory Week” next, but it’s a recovery week. So this will be the last strength training week in the P90X3 Challenge. Day 78
starts week 12 out with Decelerator, which is also the very last time we tackle this workout.
Day 78 Decelerator
The first few times through this workout I wasn’t a big fan, but it was new in the 3rd month so that kept it fresh. Day 78 marks the 4th time we have done this workout and today I found it rather easy. At least easier than I remember. In fact the last 3 workouts in the P90X3 challenge have been great and a little bit “easier” on me. Maybe I’m starting to get in better shape, huh? My legs are really sore from yesterday’s tournament and workout, more sore than they have ever been since starting this journey. The Decelerator workout focuses on decelerating your bodies momentum. In other words more jumping and squats which was lovely on my legs.
Day 78 Decelerator Nutrition
Monday means it’s back to the grind and to get my nutrition back in check. Started the day off with oatmeal but I tried to up the serving size which was not very pleasant. After I ate breakfast I felt over stuffed, not a good feeling. Dinner was a simple meal, just chicken, quinoa and some broccoli. A pretty good day as far as the nutrition is concerned. Like I mentioned in my weekly review that I decided to up my calories by 100 for these final two weeks. I finished day 78 with 2015 and my macros at 40-36-24.
