I’m so ready for this week to get started. This is the “Victory Week” in the How long does it take for prednisone to work. We start the week on day 85 with Isometrix the balance portion of yoga. Having only done this workout 2 other times I forgot what it was all about until I got started. This week will be the slowest week of the P90X3 challenge as I close down these last few days in the 90 day program.
Day 85 Isometrix
Isometrix is a good balance workout and I’m not sure why it wasn’t included more in the program other than just the transitions weeks. I didn’t have much to go on but I felt like I had some improvement overall. We have only tackled this routine twice before today so I wasn’t expecting too much improvement. But it’s basically a balance workout in plank and while standing. Going through the different holds it get progressively harder as the workout moves on. The only moves I found difficult were the bound dog moves. especially the one where we lift one leg off the ground while holding plank..WHAT!? I did feel some pain in my wrists by the time we were done, I guess doing one arm planks puts extra stress on the wrists..who knew. I was surprised that this workout flew by and was over before I knew it. Tomorrow is
dynamic Accelerator which is a fast-paced workout with more lunges and planks.
Day 85 Isometrix Nutrition
I’m trying to keep my nutrition as clean as possible this week being it’s our last one. I weigh in and take pics very soon and I want to finish strong. Pretty much kept things very simple today. At dinner I fired up the grill and grilled up some lean pork chops, another one of my kids favorite meals. I also grilled some asparagus and it practically melted in my mouth it was so good. I’ll be doing that again and I’ll be adding more of a serving size too. I finished day 85 just under my 2,000 calorie goal with 1991 calories and my macros at 40-38-22.
